Why this exists
I loved physics as a boy, especially stories about the birth of stars and planets. As I grew older, small gaps in the logic of familiar explanations stayed with me and kept asking for a way out.
The search
My search began when I was a boy.
I loved physics and stories about how stars, planets and the universe came to be. I wanted to understand not only what we could observe, but how those observations led to the explanations we accepted.
As I grew older, I began to notice small gaps in some of those explanations—places where the logical thread seemed to jump before reaching its conclusion.
I could sense the questions, but I could not yet formulate them clearly.
Books on popular physics gave me more knowledge, but they did not close those gaps. Later, while studying electrical engineering and telecommunications, I gained a stronger foundation in signals, waves and measurement. The questions became more precise, but they did not disappear.
They remained in the background for years.
Eventually, they began to find their way out through fiction.
What started as one novel became three, because one story could not contain all of the questions.
Three books, three questions
The trilogy does not ask the reader to reject established measurements. It asks whether the same measurements can support a different physical explanation.
Why a portal beside the fiction?

This portal exists because the questions eventually grew beyond the space available inside the novels. Here, they can be separated from the story, expressed more clearly and followed as deeply as each reader wishes.

The author’s starting point
Ned Fielder is the pen name of Nenad Poljak, an electrical engineer educated at the University of Belgrade in telecommunications, with a particular interest in signal processing. That background shaped the insistence on separating source, propagation, receiver and interpretation.
